Society and media has ingrained in us how we need certain things inside us like caffeine, sugar and red meat. That is why these are the kinds of things which we crave so easily. I know and you know too how many people always find themselves needing the next caffeine fix and they admit to not function properly without caffeine.
The number one ingredient in coffee that gives us that jolt of energy is the caffeine. Aside from coffee, there are foods that have caffeine content. Apples, soft drink, teas, chocolate bars, are those foods that have caffeine in them that people eat to get them by of their caffeine fix. They think that drinking coffee or taking in caffeine could substitute it for adrenal fatigue supplements, but the truth is, it would just worsen their stress.
Although it would give you that extra energy to be on the go, but it has its drawbacks. Fast heart palpitations and the tendency to not sleep during night could really give a big impact on your health. Some people stay away from coffee but instead they drink energy drinks, but don't you know that those energy drinks have a high caffeine content that is why you can still feel the results of drinking coffee?
Caffeine just gives a temporary supply of energy but later on, it will give you a certain "crash" and that's when you feel all the postponed exhaustion. It will hit you like an avalanche, like, perhaps, when you're in bed and ready to sleep. You will feel like your tiredness has accumulated. Sometimes you may even palpitate and have migraines when you take those energy drinks or other caffeine products too often.
The better ways to really boost your energy is by eating right and get the right amount of sleep. This will let you feel rejuvenated. Cut down the intake of coffee and start living right.
