Loneliness is all around us. Even though we find ourselves in a planet with billions of people, many of these people live alone. Others, who may live with others, still harbor extreme loneliness on a continual basis. In the case of woman, we find many searching for advice on:

A man is a very different "type of animal". Many a woman has tossed and turned in her bed trying to figure that special guy out, and show him that they love him. Are gifts and presents the only what that you can show that special guy in your life that you care? Hardly. Food and Such...
"The Way To A Man's Heart Is Through His Stomach". We've all heard this saying before right? Now we won't go so far as to say that the only way to get a man to love you is to go through his stomach, it is true that most guys love good food, and all the work and thought that has gone into making it.
1) For starters we will begin with the first meal of the day, which is breakfast. Why not make him something truly special to get his day off on the right foot? Think he might like some heart-shaped pancakes? If he's not into pancakes how about trimming the corners off a piece of toast to replicate the shape of a heart? Even the butter that could accompany this dish could be trimmed into a heart shape. It will go great on those pancakes or toast. Yummy!!!
2) Lunch comes next. Many men "brown bag" it to work, and this provides you with a great opportunity to show that you love him. Here's an extra surprise: cook or make his favorite snack and add it with his "usual ole' sandwich" for that special note saying: "I love you".
3) The last meal of the day is the evening meal, at least for most people. Even though it's the last meal of the day, this doesn't mean that it has to be the least romantic. You could start things off with a dinner via candlelight. Play some romantic and soothing music in the background. That great little bottle of wine. Oh, and don't forget to make him that special meal that he often raves about.
4) While snacks can be eaten throughout the day, a romantic snack is very memorable indeed. Did you have a special treat when you started your dating life? How about a delicious ice cream cone and that walk along the lake? Nobody says that you can't recreate this experience again by "retracing your steps".
Showing Affection
People need to know that others care about them, and men are included in this group. Even though a guy may be the "strong, silent type", he can still get a tear in the eye when he sees a touching or romantic movie. If you are looking to show that guy that you love him, why not try:
1) You know, a hug says so much. When he least expects it, why not come up from behind and put your arms around him and give him a nice hug. You can whisper "I love you" in his ear. Don't overdo this mind you...just once in a while so that it will be something really unique and special.
2) Listen to him. Can't get much more simple than that. For many women it so tempting to talk your man's ear off when he gets him. You want to vent and get out your frustrations. For a change, let him talk and you just listen. Don't change the subject to your day, but offer "I'm listening responses" like "I see" or "Hmmm". He will remember your care and concern for him...
3) On the other side of the coin, there are some guys don't like to talk at all when they arrive home from work. Remember, they've been battling the traffic, the clients, the boss, and "who knows" during the day, and they need time to unwind. They will probably talk your ear off once they do relax a bit, but be sure not to pepper them with questions as soon as they get home, or give him the latest version of that "Honey Do List". Just let him unwind a bit...
4) Some guys out there like a good massage, and if you are gifted in this way, this a great way to show that you care about him. The human touch is a very powerful thing. Remember to be gentle though...there is no need to bring him to tears. You can give him a back rub, or how about just running your fingers lightly through his hair? This is a great for you to both prepare for the evening meal, or other things...
Activities With Romance
Many men are adventurous and energetic and love to try out new things. They love to test their manliness. Here are a few activities that will show that you love that special guy:
1) Pure and simple, get out of that special "box" you have built around yourself and do something that you would not normally do. Do you hate football? Instead of complaining about the sport, why not join your man on the couch and try, I mean really try, to understand it. Instead of getting that "ugh" look on your face, why not ask them sincere questions. What's a first down? What is a quarterback? You know the type of questions we are talking about. He will be taken by surprise at first, but since he loves the game, he will love to explain the finer points to you. If he's not into football you can do a bit of research before hand to determine what questions to ask. He will remember it...trust me...
2) What about chores? Does that special guy in your life have chores that he needs to do on a regular basis? Here's an idea. Why not do it for him for once. Tell him that since he looks tired you decided to help him out. Remember to tell him that you are helping him out for once. If not, you may find that you have bought yourself yet one more chore to do around the house.
3) Pillow fight anyone? Most of us have left pillow fights behind with our childhood...back when we used to jump up and down on the bed. Who says we need to leave all the fun behind when we grow up? Here's a thought. One night, when you are getting ready for bed, hall off and "wallop" him! He'll be taken by surprise, for sure...but he might get a kick out of it. Be prepared for him to hall off and "wallop" you back. Let the action begin!
Give Him Compliments
We all love to get compliments. We like to hear that others like our clothes, our jewelry, our hair, our "whatever". Do you know how to compliment a guy? Here are a few ways:
1) Say nice complimentary things about your guy when you are out with others. Tell others how special he is, or how hard he works, or how much he cares. Word will eventually get back to that man of yours, and he will be thrilled that all the good aspects of his character have not gone unnoticed.
2) Is that guy of yours a fancy dresser sort of a guy? Some guys are, and some, well "not so much". If he is a fancy dresser he will appreciate it when other people notice this fact. Take special notes of a new piece of clothing, or how he has put his style together, and let him know that you notice.
3) What do you like? Is there something that your man does that you really appreciate? Does he do the dishes from time to time? Does he take the baby out for a walk when you are exhausted? Let him know that those little things he does are really appreciated.
4) You could always leave some little romantic notes in places that he will find them. Why not put one on the bathroom mirror for example? He will see it when he gets up in the morning. Why not put one on the steering wheel of his car? He will see it when he drives to work in the morning.

Gift giving is usually reserved for special occasions or holidays. Who says gifts can't be given at other times? How much more special are those gifts that are given at other times of the year.
